From academic session 2022-2023 onwards, as per UGC Guidelines, A centralized process with the name of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be followed for admission to all undergraduate courses including B.A and B.Sc in Psychology at all Central Universities including the University of Delhi (DU).
As per the available news, A common entrance exam will be conducted for admission to Undergraduate courses and the pattern of exam will be online MCQ based.
The CUET will be divided into three stages mentioned below:
Stage-1: There will be a language test where students need to select 1 out of 13 languages as per their interest.
Stage-2: Stage 2 of CUET is Domain-specific, currently CUET offers 27 domain subjects in which interested and eligible candidates can write the exam. A candidate can select upto 6 domain subjects in their application form for CUET.
Stage-3: In stage 3 there will be a general test where questions will be on general knowledge, current affairs, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning, logical and analytical reasoning.
The Universities will decide and announce which domain-specific test a candidate has to take for which course. Also, a university can allow students for admission in their course either on the basis of scores obtained in Domain-specific tests or scores obtained in General tests.
