Being recognized by RCI means that after finishing their M. Phil Clinical Psychology there, students can become registered Clinical Psychologists in India.
Eligibility Criteria
For MPhil Clinical Psychology
To be eligible for MPhil Clinical Psychology, candidates need to complete MA /MSc Psychology course with 55% marks in aggregate as per new guidelines.

For PhD in Clinical Psychology
To be eligible for Ph.D. Clinical Psychology at RINPAS, it is necessary to have completed Diploma OR M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology /Medical and Social Psychology. The duration of Ph.D. at RINPAS is two (02) years.

Required Documents in Interview
After the examination, there will be interview for MPhil Clinical Psychology at RINPAS. You are to carry the following documents in original format for the verification.
- Certificate of Age Proof
- Marksheet, Certificates, Certificates of Professional course
- Caste Certificate (as per Jharkhand Govt. Rules)
- Disability Certificate, if applicable
- Documents related to work experience etc. if applicable
- One passport-size photograph
- Service candidates must take no objection certificate issued by the head of the institution
Exam Pattern for MPhil at RINPAS
For MPhil
- No. of Questions: 100
- Types of Question: Objective-Type MCQs
- Marks: 02 Marks for correct answers each
- Negative Marking: -1 for wrong answer each
- Interview: Yes
Final selection of the candidates will be on merit basis as per the performance in the entrance exam.
For PhD
- Cutt-off for General & OBC Category Students: 50% marks
- Cutt-off for ST & SC Category Students: 45% Marks
- Marks: 02 Marks for correct answers each
- Negative Marking: -1 for wrong answer each
Note: Only Post MPhil candidates can apply for Ph.D. at RINPAS.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹1200/- needs to be paid in the Demand Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Ranchi University, Ranchi. Candidates of Jharkhand, who belong to the category of ST /SC need to pay ₹600/- as application fee.

General Instructions
- Incomplete applications will not be considerable.
- Candidates will not get any TA /DA for appearing in the entrance examination.
- As the examination will be in OMR format, candidates should carry blue /black ball pen to fill out the circle provided on the OMR sheet.
- Students are suggested to enter in the examination half an hour before the commencement of exam.
- Carrying any electronic gazette in the exam is strictly prohibited.
- Any misbehave or canvassing in any form will be intolerable. The admission will be canceled of such candidates.
- Fluency in English is desirable.
- The number of seats can be changed without assigning any reason.
