Eligibility Criteria

1. B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology with not less than 50% marks.
2. B.A. /B.Sc. /B.com. OR B.A. /B.Sc. /B.com. (Hons.) OR B.Sc. (Home Sc.) with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Exam Pattern of MA in Applied Psychology

Exam Mode: Offline (OMR Based)

Type of Question: MCQ

Total Questions: 100 (80 questions from Psychology & 20 from GK current Affairs)

Negative Marking: 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.

Total Duration: 90 minutes

Reserved Seats Conditions

Candidates who want to take admission under the reserved category can apply for ONE reservation category only and will need to fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions of the program.

If someone from a special category passes the Entrance Test for admission under the General category, they will be considered for admission both under the General category and their claimed special category.

Application Process

Candidates have to visit the admission portal of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) (link is mentioned below). The online registration process includes two phases. The registration of candidates and entrance application.

While filling out the application form, you have to provide some basic information about yourself. The entrance application includes the name of the program you are applying for, category, submission of entrance application fee, etc.

The candidates whose result is still awaited can also apply for MA in Applied Psychology. However, the candidates would have to present the required certificate, etc. by 31 October 2025.

Fee Structure

The fee of MA Applied Psychology at JMI is ₹Rs.12,875/- per year. Additionally, the fee for fieldwork/training is ₹1,500/-, the lab fee is ₹1,000/-, and the fee for the brochure is ₹500/- for an MA in Applied Psychology.

Once you register, you will receive an email with a UNIQUE CODE with a link to verify the email account. After the link verification, candidates can log in to the portal using the credentials they got.

Step 3

After login, you will see the options to select your program. Select the program and proceed further. After selecting the program, you have to proceed with the application by providing a photo and signature, academic details, document details, etc.

Step 4

After this, you have to make the payment of ₹700/- as an application fee.

1. A candidate will be allowed to submit only one application. JMI reserves the right to cancel the application of candidates in case of more applications than one.
2. Candidates don’t have to send their application forms in hard copies. However, they need to keep the hard copy of the application after filling it out.
