The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) was declared as DEEMED UNIVERSITY in 1994 by the Central Government. NIMHANS has contributed with about 1000 psychiatrists and about 600 clinical psychologists working in both National and International Fields. In 2012, NIMHANS got the title of “Institute of National Importance”.
NIMHANS has invited online applications for various posts including the post of Research Associate on a contract basis in the UNDP-funded project entitled “Development of Holistic Psychosocial wellbeing module for LGBTIQ communities” under Dr. Jayakumar C, Associate Professor, Centre for PSSDM & Principal Investigator. Essential Qualification : Master of Social Work / Clinical Psychology / PG with Fellowship in Mental Health Education
Preferred Qualification : MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work / Clinical Psychology Work experience in the area of LGBTIQ Maximum
Age Limit : 40 years
Emoluments : Rs.30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
This Position Involves:
- Coordinating with different stakeholders
- Organising virtual training programs
- Designing capacity building materials on Psychosocial content
- Data management
- Reporting & Documentation
Duration of the Post : 6 months
