NFSU has invited online applications from eligible candidates to apply for taking admission in various Post Graduate including M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, and M.Sc. Neuropsychology, M.Sc. Forensic Psychology and M.A Criminology for session 2022-24. Details regarding the admission process and the courses are as follows.

National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is also known as the name of Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU). It is a higher educational Institution Based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It specializes in the field of Forensic and investigative science. The Institution was established under Act 17 passed by the Gujarat Legislative Assembly on 30 September 2008. It also has been recognized as an Institution of National Importance by the Act of Parliament.

Name of the Course: M.Phil in Clinical Psychology

Duration of the course: 2 Years

Number of seats: 12 seats

Eligibility: 

  • 2 years M.A./M.Sc. degree in Psychology from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
  • For SC/ST category, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential, as per GOI.

Name of the Course: M.Sc in Clinical Psychology

Duration of the course: 2 Years

Number of seats: 50 seats

Eligibility: 

  • B.A./B.Sc. Degree in Psychology or Science subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% or equivalent marks in aggregate. (50 % or equivalent marks for SC/ST and PwD category)

Name of the Course: M.Sc. Forensic Psychology

Duration of the course: 2 Years

Number of seats: 40 seats

Eligibility: 

  • B.A./B.Sc. Degree in Psychology or Science subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% or equivalent marks in aggregate. (50% or equivalent marks for SC/ST and PwD category)

Name of the Course: M.A Criminology (with specialization in Forensic Psychology)

Duration of the course: 2 Years

Number of seats:

Gandhinagar: 40 Seats

Delhi: 40 Seats

Eligibility: 

  • Graduate from any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. (45% or equivalent marks for SC/ST and PwD category)

Name of the Course: M.Sc. Neuropsychology

Duration of the course: 2 Years

Number of seats: 30 seats

Eligibility: 

B.A./B.Sc. Degree in Psychology or Science subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% or equivalent marks in aggregate. (50 % or equivalent marks for SC/ST and PwD category).

Application Fees: ₹1,000/-
