Attendance Criteria Post-selection
It is essential to have 80% attendance (Physical Presence) once you get selected for the course at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. - Candidates shall be declared to have passed in either of the two parts of the M.Phil examination if they obtain at least 50% of the marks in

- Each of the practical and viva voce examinations

- The dissertation (in the case of Part – II only)
- A separate minimum of 35% marks in Internal Assessment and 50% in Theory
- Overall, 50% marks are minimum to pass in the subject aggregate (University Theory + Internal Assessment)
- Candidates can’t appear in either part 1 or part 2 of the examination more than three times.
