As per the recent notification, UGC NET June 2023 forms are available now. Dr. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar (Chairman, UGC) announced some information reading the dates today. The candidates eligible for UGC NET June 2023 should read the instructions below. Further details regarding the eligibility and Examination are as follows.
The National Testing Agency conducts UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) on behalf of the University Grant Commission. It is the examination to determine the eligibility of the aspirants who want to pursue a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). It also helps a candidate to work as an Assistant Professor in a UGC Recognized University or College. The UGC NET exam is currently conducted twice a year in the months of June and December through computer-based tests.
Role of NTA
The National Testing Agency is an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization in India. The Ministry of Human Resource Development established it in November 2017. The NTA is responsible for conducting various national-level exams, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), and National Eligibility Test (NET) (UGC NET)
Age limit for UGC NET June 2023:
If a candidate is applying for Junior Research Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years (as per recent notification) and for the candidate applying for the eligibility of assistant professor, there is no age limit. A relaxation of up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC-NCL/SC/ST/ PwD/Third gender categories and to women applicants.
Application Fee:
The fee to fill out the application form for General candidates is ₹1,150. For EWS/OBD-NCL candidates is ₹600 and for the SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender Candidates that fee is ₹325.
