CUET, also known as the Common Universities Entrance Test, is an exam that is served by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India. CUET came into existence for the admission process for universities and gives a single common entrance window for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Students, who perform well in CUET can utilize their marks to apply for admission to different universities in India. Participating universities and Institutes conduct their separate counseling based on the CUET-PG scorecard. They may have their own cutoff scores and admission criteria. Therefore, it becomes compulsory for students to verify the admission guidelines of the universities in which they want to study. CUET is available for undergraduate (UG) as well as postgraduate (PG).
CUET-UG
Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) has two types. The first is CUET UG for undergraduate and CUET PG for postgraduate. In order to pursue Bachelor’s program, students attend CUET UG. CUET aims to maintain the playing field for students in the country, especially for candidates living in rural and less accessible areas, by presenting a standardized entrance test. It helps to establish better connections with the Universities. A single unified test will permit candidates to enhance their reach and be a participant in the admission processes of multiple Central Universities.
CUET-PG
CUET PG is a crucial nationwide entrance exam in India, facilitating applications to diverse postgraduate programs at universities. It serves as a universal basis for admission, including an M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology, streamlining the process and ensuring fair evaluation, ultimately aiding admission to prestigious universities’ advanced programs.
