Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (DIMHANS) has opened applications in the prescribed format for the M.Phil in Clinical Psychology admissions for the academic year 2024.
This two-year, full-time M.Phil in Clinical Psychology course is RCI-approved and affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The course offers comprehensive training in Clinical Psychology, preparing students for professional roles in mental health care.
About DIMHANS
The DIMHANS was started in the year 1845 by the British Government. It provides various Post Graduate courses such as Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychiatry social work, and clinical Psychology. The M.Phil in Clinical Psychology course was introduced to the institution in 2019.
Eligibility:
The course is open to Karnataka domicile candidates only.
Candidates must have completed a 2-year MA/MSc in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/Counselling Psychology/Applied Psychology from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for candidates under reserved SC and ST categories).

The seat allocation follows the Karnataka State Government reservation roster. Reserved seats for Hyderabad Karnataka candidates are also available.

Format: 100 multiple-choice questions, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. The exam duration is 90 minutes.
