NIEPVD has invited applications in prescribed format from eligible candidates to apply for various post-graduation courses including M. Phil Clinical Psychology, M. Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology, Post-graduate diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, and M.Sc Applied Psychology (Integrated course of B.Sc and M.Sc ) to take admission in the academic session of 2022-2024. Interested candidates may read all the information and apply according to the application procedure mentioned below.
The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan) is also known as National Institute for the Visually Handicapped (NIVH) and it is based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It operates under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, which is supervised by the Indian government’s Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. NIEPVD conducts various workshops, events, and courses under the Special Educational Programmes. The details regarding the RCI License courses are as follows.
M.Phil Clinical Psychology
Course Duration: 2 years
Number of Seats: 6 (Six)
Eligibility Criteria: A two-year MA or M. Sc in any area of Psychology from a UGC Recognized University with an aggregate minimum of GPA of 55%. (50% for SC/ST Applicants).
Course fee: ₹2,40,000 + ₹5,000 (Caution fee) + Hostel and Examination Fee
M.Phil Rehabilitation Psychology
Course Duration: 2 years
Number of Seats: 10 (Ten)
Eligibility Criteria: A two-year MA or M. Sc in any area of Psychology from a UGC Recognized University with an aggregate minimum of GPA of 55%. (50% for SC/ST Applicants).
Course fee: ₹1,60,000 + ₹5,000 (Caution fee) + Hostel and Examination Fee
Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology
Course Duration: 1 year
Number of Seats: 15 (Fifteen)
Eligibility Criteria: 3-year Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
or
Master’s Degree in Psychology (Distance or Regular)
or
Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology (Distance or Regular) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
Course fee: ₹70 ,000 + ₹5,000 (Caution fee) + Hostel and Examination Fee
M.Sc in Applied Psychology (Integrated)
Course Duration: 5 years
Number of Seats: 40 (Forty)
Eligibility Criteria: Any student who has completed class 12th in any stream with a grade point average of 55% or higher.
Course fee: ₹3,00 ,000 + ₹5,000 (Caution fee) + Hostel and Examination Fee
Application Procedure:
The duly filled application should be reached at the address mentioned below before the last date of the application with all the related/relevant documents. The application form can be submitted through Post/Speed Post/Courier/Messenger or in person by the candidate. The self-attested photograph is to be affixed to the application form. The payment can be made by cash at the accounts department of the institute or through a bank draft drawn in the favour of “the Director, N.I.V.H., Dehradun, payable at Dehradun”. The bank draft should be enclosed with the application form.
