Mizoram University, Aizawl has invited online applications for admission to a 2-year full-time RCI-recognized M. Phil Clinical Psychology course for the academic year 2024-26.
Mizoram University started operating on July 2, 2001, after being established by an Act of Parliament (No. 8 of 2000). It is located in Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram, and spans 979 acres on the city’s outskirts. In the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022, it secured the 1st rank in the North-East Region of India.
The University has gained a reputation as one of the most well-known universities in India, with rankings by the NIRF from 2016 to 2023 under the MHRD. Over its 22-year history, the university has made significant progress in infrastructure, academic programs, staff, and support services.
Mizoram University – M.Phil Clinical Psychology Admission 2024
Mizoram University started the Department of Clinical Psychology in 2019. That same year, they began offering a full-time M.Sc in Clinical Psychology course under the School of Medical and Para-Medical Sciences, with 30 students each year.
From 2023, Mizoram University has been running a two-year full-time M.Phil in Clinical Psychology program, recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil Clinical Psychology
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks from a UGC-recognized University.

Entrance Exam Pattern: Mizoram University M.Phil Clinical Psychology Admission 2024
Selection is Based on the offline entrance examination, followed by an interview.
Marks weightage: Written test (80 marks) and Interview (20 marks)
Duration of written test: 60 minutes.
Venue of Entrance Exam: Mizoram University Campus, Aizawl, Mizoram
The written test will include 80 MCQs based on the MA/MSc Psychology Syllabus.
