NFSU MPhil Clinical Psychology 2025 | M.Phil Cl. Psy Admission 2025
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission into M.Phil Clinical Psychology course for the academic year 2025-26. This can be the last batch of M.Phil Clinical Psychology program because the course is set to be replaced by the newly RCI-regulated MA Clinical Psychology from next academic year. About NFSU
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is a government-funded multi campus university. It is recognised as an Institution of National Importance by the Act of Parliament. The institute was formed initially as Gujarat Forensic Science University in 2008 and upgraded to the National Forensic Sciences University in October 2020.
The NFSU offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs including M.Phil Clinical Psychology and MSc Clinical Psychology. The Gandhinagar and Delhi campuses are RCI recognized for M.Phil in Clinical Psychology course.

Eligibility Criteria
MA /MSc in Psychology from a university recognized by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC) with not less than 55% marks in aggregate. For candidates who belong to the category of ST and SC, it is necessary to hold minimum 50% marks in aggregate as per GOI.

Seats reservation is as per GOI guidelines.
Entrance Test & marking scheme:
The entrance exam of NFSU is in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only. The medium of the National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT 2024) would be in English.
Each question will carry 1 mark. Notably, there is a negative marking of ¼ (0.25) mark. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
After the process of the Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or changes in the key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Final Answer Key will be awarded marks.
How to Apply:
Candidates should apply online only by following the below steps:
Initial Registration:
- The applicant must register in the admission portal for the first-time login.
- Visit the official website (Click here)
- Click on the New Registration button and then fill in the applicant’s name, personal email ID & mobile number.
Verification by OTP:
- The applicant must verify the registration details by entering the OTP received on the applicant’s email.
Login to complete the Profile:
- After the successful completion of the registration process, Applicants login to complete the personal profile by clicking the Complete Profile button.
Fill out the profile details:
- Applicants need to fill in the mandatory details such as First name, Date of Birth, Family details, Address, Category details, Bank account details etc. and then click on Save & Next button to proceed further.
View & Update (Profile Detail):
- Applicants can view & check the details filled by them and if found correct, click the Next button.
Other Details:
- Fill in details like participation in NSS Camp or any extracurricular activities and then click on the Save & Next button to move to the next part.
View & Update (Other Details)
- Applicants may view & update the Other Detail if found incorrect, otherwise move to upload section by clicking the Next button.
Upload the documents
- Applicants need to upload the Photo, Signature, and Date of Birth Certificate in the prescribed format (i.e. JPEG, JPG, PDF etc.) and in the prescribed size (10 kb to 500 kb). After uploading the documents, click on the Submit button.
Checkbox the Declaration and Lock the Profile
- Applicants have to checkbox the declaration before submission of the details.
Programme Selection
- Click on the Programme Selection to apply for any programme.
- Select the program (M.Phil Clinical Psychology) by drop down menu of Program Level and Programme
Campus preference selection:
- Choose the campuses wisely as the candidate will not be able to change the preferences after successful submission of the application.
Select Exam Center:
- Applicant must select three examination centers in preferential order.
Preview of the Complete Form:
Applicants can preview the complete form by clicking the preview button. After thorough review, click the Submit button to proceed for payment.
