GGSIPU, Delhi has announced online applications on behalf of the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) for admission to 1-year full-time Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling (ADCGC) for the session 2025.

About NIPCCD
The National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) is an organization under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Established in 1966, NIPCCD is dedicated to promoting voluntary action, research, training, child development, and women’s empowerment.
NIPCCD offers the Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling, a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). This program aims to equip professionals with the skills necessary to address the psychological and developmental needs of children effectively. Through its comprehensive initiatives, NIPCCD strives to foster holistic development and well-being of children and women across the nation.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have completed one of the eligibilities mentioned below.
- MA in Psychology / social work /child development /community resource management /development communication extension /nursing /special education.
- M.Ed from a recognized university
- BA or BSc in Psychology / Social Work/Child Development/Community Resource Management/Development communication extension /Nursing /Special Education with a minimum of 5 years of experience in dealing with children.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university with not less than 4 years of experience in working with children. Besides this, students must have studied English as a major /elective /functional at 10+2 level or higher.
Selection Process and Intakes
The selection of the students will be based on merit in IPU CET for the ADCGC program.
Total intake: 33 Seats.
Syllabus
Application Process
You need to visit the official portal of the application using the link mentioned below. There, you need to register as a new user by entering the details as mentioned. Once you log in, you just need to verify the details with an OTP in your mail or registered contact number.
- After the verification, you have to choose the program you are applying for (Course code – 175).
- There, you need to complete multiple steps which are the parts of the application process. The details contain personal details, exam cities, educational qualifications, and uploaded documents.
- After completing step 1, you need to make the payment of the application fee. The fee can be paid through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, etc. Notably, the fee is non-refundable and can be paid through online mode only.
