Osmania University is the seventh oldest university in India, the third oldest university in South India and the first to be established in the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MA Psychology Programs at Osmania University, the candidates must have completed their graduation under any stream.
To be eligible for MSc Psychology at Kakatiya University, it is necessary to have completed B.A. in Psychology discipline OR B.Sc. in any stream.

Admission Process
To get into the PG Psychology courses at Osmania University, candidates have to appear in the Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET). Osmania University conducts this entrance test. The admissions of Osmania University Usually start in the first week of April month every year.
Exam Pattern of CPGET
The question paper of CPGET includes a total of 100 questions. Each question consists of 1 mark. The type of questions is objective-type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ).
The entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective-type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study/experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple-choice items.
PG Diploma Course at Osmania University
Osmania University offers a Postgraduate Diploma course in Child Psychology. Candidates should note that this diploma course is only for women.
To be eligible for this diploma course, women candidates must complete the graduation with Psychology as an optional discipline from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with not less than 50% marks.

- The eligibility of the student is not verified at the time of application or during the entrance test. The verification will be entertained during the admission only.
- Candidates can download their hall tickets and rank cards from the official website of Osmania University. Candidates will not receive any information regarding the same through post or via the mail.
- The university conducts the admissions through a process of web-based counseling. The eligible individuals need to choose their preferences online in the order they like. The schedule for online certificate verification will be available after declaring the results.
- Candidates who have completed a degree with a single subject in open/distance mode of education are not eligible for P.G. Courses.
