The Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences, commonly known as RINPAS, is located in the capital of Jharkhand, India. It’s a well-known medical institute and hospital working in the field of Neuro Sciences and Mental Health. RINPAS is recognized with RCI, which allows students to obtain a license as a Clinical Psychologist after finishing their M.Phil Clinical Psychology there.

Eligibility Criteria
MPhil Clinical Psychology
MA /MSc Psychology course with 55% marks in aggregate from a UGC-recognized University.
Intakes: 12
PhD in Clinical Psychology
Diploma OR M.Phil in Clinical Psychology/Medical and Social Psychology. The duration of PhD at RINPAS is two (02) years.
Note: Only Post MPhil candidates can apply for a PhD at RINPAS.

Exam Pattern for MPhil/PhD at RINPAS
- Mode of Exam: Offline (OMR Based)
- No. of Questions: 100
- Time duration: 2 hrs.
- Types of Question: Objective-Type MCQs
- Marks: 02 Marks for correct answers each
- Negative Marking: -1 for wrong answer each
- Interview: Yes
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹1200/- needs to be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Registrar, Ranchi University, Ranchi. Candidates of Jharkhand, who belong to the category of ST /SC need to pay ₹600/- as an application fee.

How to Apply?
You need to download the application form (attached below). Take a print of the application and fill out the required information carefully. Applicants need to submit the application in person or via post to the following address.

Important Note: Candidates must enclose a self-attested photocopy of the final year mark sheet (PG Course / MPhil as applicable) and other relevant documents with the application form.
Required Documents in Interview
There will be an interview for MPhil Clinical Psychology for students who pass the entrance test. Students need to carry the following documents in original format and copies for the verification.
- Certificate of Age Proof
- Marksheet, Certificates, Certificates of Professional course
- Caste Certificate (as per Jharkhand Govt. Rules)
- Disability Certificate, if applicable
- Documents related to work experience etc. if applicable
- One passport-size photograph
- Service candidates must take no objection certificate issued by the head of the institution
