Eligibility Criteria
A candidate should have a BA /BSc degree in Psychology from a university recognized by the UGC.
Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelors can also apply. However, the admission of such candidates is subject to their passing the qualifying examination.

Admission Process
The selection of candidates for the Master’s in Psychology is based on merits in the entrance examination.
Exam Pattern of MA Psychology at SPPU
- No. of Questions: 100
- Type of Questions: MCQs
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
- Negative Marking: ¼ Marks for wrong response each
- Duration of Exam: 02 Hours
- Mode of Exam: Online
The Entrance exam will consist of 2 sections
Section 1
The questions will be related to General Knowledge /Aptitude /Logic /Comprehension, etc., and will carry 20 Marks.
Section 2
The questions will be related to the Psychology discipline and will carry 80 marks.
Note: Both sections will be part of a single-question paper.

Application Fee
Candidates who belong to the General Category need to make a payment of ₹800/- as the application fee. Candidates who belong to the reserved category have to pay ₹600/- as an application fee.

Important Instructions
- Candidates do not need to submit the printout of the application /documents to the university after online submission.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected after the last date of application without assigning any reason.
