SRM Institute MSc and MPhil Clinical Psychology Admissions 2024

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, once called SRM University, is a private university in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It started in 1985 and provides courses in engineering, medicine, management, science, and humanities. The university has campuses in different parts of Chennai and Delhi NCR.

Eligibility Criteria

For MSc Clinical Psychology

To be eligible for MSc Clinical Psychology at SRM Institute, students should have completed their BA /BSc in Psychology /Applied Psychology /Counseling Psychology /Clinical Psychology (regular mode) from a university recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 5.0 in the qualifying examination.

For M.Phil. Clinical Psychology

Candidates should have completed their Master’s in Psychology with not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a university recognized by UGC.

Intakes and Fee Structure

For MSc Clinical Psychology, there are 20 intakes at SRM Institute. The fee for MSc Clinical Psychology program at SRM Institute is ₹2,50,000/- per year.

For M.Phil. Clinical Psychology, the institute has 12 intakes. The fee of M.Phil. Clinical Psychology course here is ₹5,00,000/- per year.

Notably, M.Phil. Clinical Psychology and MSc Clinical Psychology programs are only offered by Kattankulathur Campus of SRM Institute.

Application Process

Step 1

There, you will see the option to fill new application form for the program. You have to click on the same and select the program you are applying for. You have to provide the general information about you and your background there.

Step 2

After completing step 1, you need to provide your academic details in the second step. You are to upload the necessary documents like your passport-size photograph and the scanned copy of your signature.

Step 3

After completing step 2, you need to make the payment of the application fee in the 3^rd step. There, you will get the option of payment mode. After completing the payment, your application will be completed.

Before you apply at SRM Institutes, you should note that the exams for MSc Clinical Psychology takes place in two phases just like Christ University. Here are the details of both phases.

The entrance exam of SRM Institute will be in Remote Proctored Online Mode. That Means students can take the exam at their home using Laptop /Desktop.
