PGIBAMS, Raipur

PGIBAMS is a fancy school in Raipur, Chhattisgarh that focuses on studying how people behave and medicine. They’ve been offering a degree in Clinical Psychology for a while now.

The entrance exam for M.Phil. at PGIBAMS takes place in online mode. The duration of writing this examination is about 2 hours. To be eligible for M.Phil. at PGIBAMS, students must have completed their Master’s degree with not less than 55% marks. A relaxation of 5% marks has been given to ST /SC /OBC candidates.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE)

MAHE is a private university located in Manipal, India. It has campuses in different places like Mangalore, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Malacca, and Dubai. MAHE offers lots of different programs in various subjects, with over 350 options in 30 different areas of study. They started offering the M. Phil Clinical Psychology program in 2005.

To become eligible for M.Phil., students must complete MA /MSc in Psychology discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

NIEPMD

NIEPMD, also called the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities, is linked with institutions approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. It started in 2005 under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, which is part of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

To be eligible for M.Phil. at NIEPMD, candidates should have completed their B.A. /B.Sc. in Psychology and M.A. /M.Sc. in Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Counseling Psychology in REGULAR MODE from a university recognized by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC).

SRM Medical College

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, previously called SRM University, is a private research university in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It started in 1985 and offers courses in engineering, medicine, management, science, and humanities. The university has campuses in different parts of India, including various locations in Chennai and Delhi NCR.

There are 12 intakes for M.Phil. Clinical Psychology at SRM College. To be eligible for M.Phil. at SRM College, it is necessary for students to complete MA /MSc in Psychology with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

KGMU, Lucknow

King George’s Medical University (KGMU) is a hospital, medical school, and university in Lucknow, India. It was established in 1906 by King George V, the Prince of Wales. The college started accepting students in 1911. In 2002, the Government of Uttar Pradesh turned this institute into a medical university.

There are a total of 8 intakes for M.Phil. Course at KGMU. Candidates should have completed their Master’s in Psychology /Clinical Psychology from a university recognized by UGC with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Gautam Buddha University (GBU)

Gautam Buddha University is a government research university in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It started in 2002 and provides different levels of education, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, in many subjects. It’s also recognized by the RCI.

There is a total of 10 intakes for M.Phil. course at GBU. Candidates are required to complete their Master’s in Psychology with at least 55% marks (50% for SC /ST) from any university.

MIMH, Maharashtra

MIMH is a government institute created by the Maharashtra government in 1991. It’s well-known for mental health studies and is called a “Centre of Excellence” by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The entrance of M.Phil. at MIMH contains 50 MCQs. The mode of examination is Offline. To be eligible for the entrance, students must complete the following eligibility criteria:

  • He must be a citizen of India
  • He must be a domicile of Maharashtra State
  • The candidate must have completed a Master’s in Psychology with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC) marks or Grade ‘B’ in UGC 7-point scale in aggregate.

SRIHER

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) is a special university in Chennai, India. It provides different levels of education in various subjects. SRIHER works closely with the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute and has its own teaching hospital on the campus.

There are 180 questions in the entrance exam for M.Phil. at SRIHER. The duration of taking this examination is 180 Minutes (3 Hours). There is no negative marking in this examination. There are total 10 intakes for M.Phil. at SRIHER.

Candidates need to complete their MA /MSc degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU)

Rashtriya Raksha University is a national university located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It’s really important and used to be called RSU. The university changed under the Parliament Act No. 31 of 2020. It first started in 2009, set up by the Gujarat government.

There are total 12 intakes available at RRU for M.Phil. Program. Candidates should have completed their 2 years MA /MSc degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Amity University

Amity University is one of the private universities having various campuses across the nation. The institute offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs including MA Psychology and M.Phil. Clinical Psychology.

To be eligible for M.Phil. at Amity University, students should have completed MA /MSc degree in psychology discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate, preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology.
